End of last year LED lights from Switch Lighting were installed in this refurbished two storey house in Tahuna Hills. 12W Downlight - Square Tilt Alloy trim Natural Anodise - have been used throughout the house. Along the staircase are 2.3W Lupo lights for indirect lighting. Trinity Sensor Twin Spot 150W Silver and Trinity Sensor 200deg Satin Silver lighting up the entrence.

In 2010 we purchased a 1958 home in Nelson and embarked on a major remodel with all new electrical. I was introduced to Gerard Wood’s a partner in Switch Lighting by our architect regarding their LED lighting products, at first I was quite skeptical about the light quality and brightness of the LED lights. However I liked that two local entrepreneurs were embarking on a new business together and using their engineering skills to improve on the LED market. After viewing an installation, I warmed up to the idea. My husband and I decided to use the LED’s in the downstairs’ area of our home so that we could pack the ceiling insulation a little closer to the fixtures, as we were installing special sound board to help with any noise that may be generated by the upstairs hardwood floors. We are extremely pleased with the illumination in the downstairs area and would highly recommend the Switch Lighting product.
Switch Lighting also assisted us with the remainder of our lighting fixture needs, most of which needed to be done via the internet and Skype as we live out of the country and travel extensively. They supplied images and specifications promptly making the process painless, as well, they worked well with our contractor and kept the job on schedule even chipping in their expertise as needed. Gerard and Jon offered great service and follow up we are pleased that we chose a local Nelson company to fill our lighting needs. It is a pleasure for us to refer them and their product.
